Yeah so I decided that I really wanted to do some venting instead of doing my homework.

So everyone knows that yesterday was St. Patrick Day. The holiday known for drinking and wearing green. Ok, I wore green just because I didn't want to be pinched (which usually happens every year to me). But how come EVERYONE and and mean everyone wants to declare they are Irish? I mean, I'm Scot-irish, so all of the sudden this holiday is just for me? And I should go out and drink the night away? I don't think so. Thats just plain stupid. I swear about every holiday now days are celebrated just to drink. Let's see here...

  • New Year's Eve--everyone drinks to celebrate the year coming in.
  • Valentine's Day--Have a dinner and some wine with your love one (there's drinking).
  • St. Patty's Day--No need to say anything here.
  • Easter--Can't really say anything here because I haven't seen people drink because I'm with my family but I wouldn't been amazed if people did.
  • 4th of July--People sit back with their beers and watch the fireworks.
  • Labor Day--People have picnics and enjoy their beer again.
  • Halloween--Go to a big party with a bunch of friends all dressed-up and drink and get totally wasted.
  • Thanksgiving--If you are in a family that does drink, most likely you are doing this on this holiday too!
  • Christmas--The worst holiday to do it on, yet people still do...its sad.

What is so great about drinking?! I just don't understand it. And being in college makes me realize that I really don't want to do it period. Most that do drink don't rememeber the next day what they did and the only way they found out is by people telling them or looking at some pictures. Its horrible! The worst is being in college where everyone around you does it. I mean some people do it almost ever night even when they have class in the morning! WHY?! I guess I'll never understand it.

Sorry about the vent. The first time I have written in here for almost 2 months and I right about this. Sorry everyone but I really just wanted to complain and maybe even hear some of your opinion

Holy crap! The Steelers won! It was going great until the 4th quarter. I can't believe we almost lost that game. I was close to tears.

But anyways, I bet most of the people reading this (if any) really don't want me to talk about the Steelers. Well, its been a week since I have been back at school. I'm loving most of my classes. My favorite so far is Stats. I LOOOVVEEE math so this is class for me. Plus my teacher is funny and seems to really want everyone to pass his class. I keep thinking, maybe I should have become a math major instead of nursing. But even though I love math, I don't think I could do it every single day of my life. And even if I became a math major, the only thing I would want to do is become a teacher but I can't teach math to other people. For me, I don't understand how anyone can't get it after the first or second try. So nursing is the thing for me.

Also we started indoor soccer this week. And oh man, we won!! Against W&J!!! (for anyone who doesn't know, we don't like W&J, its kind of like Kittanning playing Ford City) So everyone was super excited about winning that. I didn't play the first game for the fact that I haven't done any heading drills to see if my symptoms come back but I was the coach for our team and it made me relize that I would love to be a coach some day. Hopefully that dream can come true. Also, I hope I can do my heading drills before our next game this Thursday so I can play! I can't wait!!

Well thats all for me! Later!

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas cause I know I sure did! It was great to see my Aunt Sue, Uncle Curley and my cousin Clinton and his wife, Liz. I didn't see them on Thanksgiving cause they had Thanksgiving early when my Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Harold came to visit and of course I wasn't there because I was at school. Grrrr...  But anyways it was great to see them. Also my sister's boyfriend, James, brought his dog, Zucco, and he was so much fun! Everyone really enjoyed having Zucco here, espically Clinton, he was crashing the dog all over the house. It was hilarious!!! It was a fun-filled day with a lot of people!  Well I hope everyone else had a great Christmas and I'm wishing everyone a Happy New Year just in case I don't write in here til then!

Hey all! I just changed my Xanga a little so check it out and tell me what you think of it.

Well its Christmas Eve and I'm super excited. I have been helping my mom bake all week when I'm not at work. I love cooking. I can't wait til I have a family of my own to cook for!  Besides cooking and working, I have been enjoying my break by just relaxing. I still have my concussion and I won't be cleared to play any sports until I'm completely symptom free. I'm seeing my doctor at UPMC Sports Center the 27th. So hopefully he will clear me and I can play indoor soccer once I get back to school. I can only wish and pray!

Since the beginning of this semester I have actually been watching football!  For all of you that know me really well, you most likely are sitting there, saying to yourself, "What?!?! Jillian likes football and is watching it?! What happened to her?!?" I know all, just calm down. I'm sitting here watching the Steeler's game against the Browns (LET'S GO STEELER! YAY BABY!) And I started yelling because they just made an awesome play and my mom was like, "who are you and what did you do with my daughter?" My family doesn't know what to do with me since I am all of the sudden started watching football. I can blame my housemates for that. All of them love to watch the Steeler's (well Amy loves to watch any sports) and all of the soccer guy's come over to our house to watch football since we have a big living room for everyone to sit in. So there you go! I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!!

Well that seems like enough for me! Merry Christmas all and remember the true meaning of Christmas!

I was tagged by Allison so that I can write in here more. Ha thats a laugh.

Rules of the game:
Post 5 WEIRD and RANDOM facts about yourself, then at the end, list the names of 5 people who are next in line to do this. Also leave a comment on their xanga to let them know.

1. I have a 3rd degree on burn on my foot but for some reason no one ever sees it when they look at my foot.

2. I have given up completely on drinking pop or anything with caffeine in it.

3. I have a learning disability that even though its  hard sometimes, I am still able to work my way through it and still get good grades in school. :)

4. I love going to haunted houses but not to get scared but to watch my friends scream their heads off and to tick off the people who are trying to scare me. hehe

5. I got a mild concussion by just heading the soccer ball like I have always done since I first started playing soccer in the 4th grade.  Weird

I tag now....Andrew, Mom, Joel, Autumn, and Justin----sorry guys I just don't have that many people on my list!
